About the role
As a Sommelier, you will guide guests through La Petite Maison's wine offering, sharing your knowledge to enhance their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support wine service on the floor, guiding guests through pairings
- Assist guests with wine recommendations tailored to the menu
- Help manage cellar organization and wine inventory
- Build and share knowledge of the current wine list and its producers
- Take part in tastings and wine-related events
- Contribute ideas to the ongoing development of the wine list
Requirements
- Previous experience in wine service, or a strong demonstrated interest in wine, is beneficial
- A wine certification such as WSET is a plus, though not required
- Warm, guest-focused communication style
- Organized and reliable, especially during busy service
- Eagerness to keep learning about wine
