About the role

As a Receiving Clerk, you will manage the receiving, verification, and storage of deliveries, keeping supplies accurately tracked and ready for the kitchen and bar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers and vendors
  • Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report them to management
  • Store supplies properly, in line with hygiene standards
  • Update inventory records and assist with stock counts
  • Communicate with suppliers about delivery issues

Requirements

  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or stock-control work, or a comparable hospitality role
  • Comfort using inventory management software, or willingness to learn one
  • Strong organizational skills and basic math
  • Comfortable with physical stock-handling tasks, including standing for extended periods
  • A reliable, methodical approach to work
