About the role
As a Receiving Clerk, you will manage the receiving, verification, and storage of deliveries, keeping supplies accurately tracked and ready for the kitchen and bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and vendors
- Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report them to management
- Store supplies properly, in line with hygiene standards
- Update inventory records and assist with stock counts
- Communicate with suppliers about delivery issues
Requirements
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or stock-control work, or a comparable hospitality role
- Comfort using inventory management software, or willingness to learn one
- Strong organizational skills and basic math
- Comfortable with physical stock-handling tasks, including standing for extended periods
- A reliable, methodical approach to work
